Company Overview


	Asia Petroleum Limited (APL) is an oil transportation company, headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan. It owns and operates an oil terminal and a pipeline system to transport Residual Fuel Oil (RFO) from Pipri, Karachi to Hub Power Company Limited, a 1292 MW Independent Power Plant located in Balochistan province of Pakistan.

	Since its commissioning in 1996, APL pipeline has transported over 16 million metric tones of RFO without any operational or safety incident. APL facilities are ISO 9001:2000 certified, which are operated and maintained by APL’s team of multi-disciplinary professionals, including engineers and technicians.

	Asia Petroleum Limited (APL) was formed in 1994 as a part of a program by the World Bank and the Government of Pakistan to encourage private international investment to form energy related joint venture private companies with national companies, in this case Pakistan State Oil.

	Asian Infrastructure Limited (AIL)
	A Hong Kong registered company as part of a Group of Companies based in Singapore with multimillion dollar investment in infrastructure plus operations in large energy manufacturing facilities and diversified projects.

	VECO International is a management and investment company with operations in the energy sector worldwide. VECO International is incorporated in Texas and operates its domestic and international business out of Alaska, USA.

	Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO)
	The leading oil marketing company of Pakistan, having 82% share of Black Oil market and 59% share of White Oil market. It owns and operates 76% of fuel storage infrastructure in the country and is engaged in import, storage, distribution and marketing of various petroleum products.

	Independent Petroleum Group (IPG)
	It is a group of companies headquartered in Kuwait with worldwide operations in the trading and marketing of crude oil, petroleum products, LPG, petrochemicals and fertilizers. In addition to this core activity, IPG has interests in terminals, pipelines and shipping business..
