EDUCATION

Adult Literacy Program

Women hailing from Noordin Goth and surrounding areas are being taught basic reading and writing skills of Urdu and English languages. APL is partnering with a NGO and supporting them financially and operationally. Two ladies from the village were trained by that NGO to teach and improve the literacy level in their locality.

Leadership Development

APL partners with external stakeholders like the academia and other companies to bring about change in people’s knowledge and skills and therefore, improve livelihood. With an emphasis to develop youth into future leaders, APL teams up with schools or organizations to develop students or young employees to ensure sustainability of community-related and allied uplift programs.

Training

When and where feasible, APL provides need-based trainings like sewing, midwifery and other vocational trainings. These trainings are conducted following indications for need as a result of gap analysis. The Trainings are aimed at not only for providing new skills but more so, to help them generate income in the future.
