Spanning more than two decades at the intersection of banking and commodity trading, Mubarak Bourusly has built his career on structuring and stewarding the financial backbone of commodity finance.

His career began as a Relationship Manager in International Banking at Gulf Bank of Kuwait, developing cross border credit and trade finance expertise serving institutional and corporate clients.

In 2005, Mubarak moved into the oil sector with Independent Petroleum Group, first as Unit Head Banking Relations and then as Executive Manager Finance, before assuming his current role as General Manager Finance.

In his current role, Mubarak leads the finance function of IPG, with a mandate centered on managing global banking relationships, capital access, and risk management in support of complex commodity trading activities and business development.
